11.03.2016 Pt.2

I had big ideas the other day of this project becoming an exhibition. One that is a really intense, unforgiving experience. When Owen and I visited Warsaw, there were photos of all the prisoners on the walls – frame after frame of almost the same photograph, but each person was different. There was something about this that was really interesting, and moving. I imagine a similar kind of intensity for this as an exhibition would work – and it’s relatable too as the people are almost held prisoner by their passport. I’m almost envisioning a hallway too, or a square room – it’s also similar to when you have your passport photo taken as there are multiple photos all on one page. Most people also hate their passport photos too, so hopefully this association would intensify the experience.
